Research Officer – Brisbane
The role: The Research Officer performs the primary tracing and intensive research function for Link-Up (Qld) client cases. A key focus is to undertake detailed genealogical research and analysis to trace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family histories and prepare complex research reports for the purposes of facilitating client reunions. The role is part of a highly motivated and collaborative team delivering research outcomes for clients in Queensland.
Permanent full-time position based in our Woolloongabba office.

Redress Counsellor – Brisbane
The role: Link-Up (Qld) is a National Redress Scheme support service for Queensland. This service provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals who have experienced childhood sexual abuse while under the care of an institution. The Redress Counsellor role is to provide trauma informed counselling whilst individuals are engaged with the National Redress Scheme, provide outreach to communities presenting information relevant to the Scheme, provide referrals and support for the application processes. The position is part of a highly motivated team who deliver counselling and support services across
Queensland. We have offices located in Brisbane and Cairns. Some travel is required in this role. This is a full-time role based in Woolloongabba.
