Idoligenous is scheduled for March 2012.. Currently, funding is being sought to enhance the program and catering facilities. Keep an eye on this page for future updates.
BEGINNERS COMPUTER WORKSHOP
Another project Link Up (Qld) has in the wings is one to assist members of the Stolen Generations with computer literacy. The project, if funded, will instruct our clients on basic computing skills in Microsoft Word™, Microsoft Excel™ and accessing the Internet to assist themselves with family research. These courses have been run at Brisbane and Palm Island and currently being investigated for Yarrabah.
MULTIMEDIA PROJECT
Link Up (Qld) now has its own Multimedia Unit within the Brisbane office. This unit is dedicated to producing multimedia productions as in DVDs, photographic presentations, digital recordings of narratives and collecting oral histories. The unit is manned by Mick Angeles and Bernard Kelly Edwards.
